Winters are packing bags(so is our boots and socks time to show your feet girls) spring is just around the corner so let's get ourselfs all pampered for it :)

One of the most common problem during any season is cracked heels and can range in severity from a cosmetic issue to a painful problem. But,taking proper precautions right away can prevent cracks from getting deeper and causing bleeding or pain. There are tons of causes for cracked heels like
Dry air
Improper foot care
Lack of moisture
Dehydration
Wearing wrong type of shoes
And ofcourse unhealthy diet.
Lets not dig into the causes anymore and see how we can cure them.

1. Cleansing with leamon.
Before starting any treatment we need to take all the dirt and dead skin out. For this, acidic properties of leamon is very effective. It helps to remove n reduce  dead skin that can cause cracking.  along with kick ass cleansing. You can either apply leamon juice directly to your feet or soak them in Luke warm water with leamon juice added in it. Do not use hot water it can only cause serious dryness. Wash your feet using a foot brush or a nail brush you can also use Pumic stone too. Pat dry.

2. Scrub Rice Flour
Exfoliate your feet with this homemade rice flour scrub will help you to get rid of dead skin. Mix handful of grounded rice with a few tablespoon of honey and apple cider vinegar. Make thick paste and scrub it on your feet. Rinse with water pat dry.

3.Massage with any oil (from your kitchen)
Stright from your kitchen to your feet
Sesame oil
Coconut oil
Musterd oil
Or any hydrogenated vegetable oil can work wonders if you massage them before going to bed followed by wearing a pair of cotton socks.

4.Moisturize Rose Water and Glycetin.
This killer combination makes a very effective treatment for cracked heels. Glycerine is known for it's moisturizing qualities it softens the skin. Rose water adds vitamins A,B3,C,D and E. And not to forget it's also an antibacterial and antiseptic. Mix equal amount and rub it on your heels and feet daily before bed followed with cotton socks.

5.Fruits Masks.
1.Banana mask smooths dry feet instantly.
2.Avocado,coconut oil, honey blend them all and apply.
If you have tried everything else and yet not able to cure cracked heels, you need to give the wax treatment for cracked heels. You need paraffin wax or wax melted from a regular candle For this, make pieces of a candle after removing its wick (thread). Now take some mustard oil. Heat the wax and the mustard oil to make a paste, apply this wax-mustard oil paste on your heel cracks. If you have deep cracks, fill this wax paste into those fissures. Then wear a pair of socks. It will be more effective if you do this treatment before going to bed. Do it for about a week. Save the wax-mustard oil paste in a jar for Next time.
